LifeStar Ambulance, Inc. began in 1987 when Jacki and Bruce Fowler saw a critical need in the local market for private ambulance transportation. They set out to provide the residents of the Delmarva Peninsula with a private ambulance company that would be safe and reliable and staffed with quality personnel. Over the past 18 years, this once-small idea has grown into a major ambulance operation: five geographic locations, more than 95 employees, 17 ambulances, 5 wheelchair vans, and an oncology transport van. Today, LifeStar Ambulance is the leader in private ambulance transportation on the Delmarva Peninsula.
